National Law Day or Constitution Day

Special morning assembly celebration on National Law Day or Constitution Day

“Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence.” -BR Ambedkar
The Indian constitution was adopted on November 26, 1949, and celebrated as ‘constitution day’ in India since 2015 .“National Constitution day” also called ‘national law day’, was celebrated at GitaRam Gurukul on November 26 to spread awareness about the Indian Constitution and to instill a sense of patriotism among students. Our school was all decked up to celebrate this event. On this day the story of the formation of the constitution was told and the lecture on the salient features of the constitution was held by our teachers. Our Students from classes 6 to 10 also presented their thoughts on the constitution’s key principles, such as equality and sociality on the poster. It was a day of learning and reflection for all involved, and we’re so grateful to have such a meaningful document at the core of our society.
