"Blue House Jyoti spikes high in a Throw Ball thriller!"
The July sun blazed down on the GitaRam Gurukul School playground on Friday, 12th July, but it could not extinguish the fiery spirit of the students! The air filled the school grounds with cheers and excitement as the annual inter-house throw-ball match began. Four houses, the school grounds bursting with pride in their vibrant colors, were ready to
battle it out – Blue House the Jyoti Squad, Red House the Awakening Warriors, Green House the Kriti Gladiators, and Yellow House the Shakti Strategists.
A fast-paced face-off!
The whistle blew, and the playground became a whirlwind of throws, dives, and amazing catches! The Blue House Jyoti team, as per their name (“light”) showed their brilliance and started throws with precision. But the other houses were not slaves to give up the fight! Red House Jagriti countered with powerful smashes, while Green House Kriti displayed impressive defense, making it difficult for them to score. Even the Yellow House Shakti, who were considered underdogs, surprised everyone with their agile and well-planned plays.

Every point was a nail-biter, the crowd cheering and gasping with every throw and catch as the final whistle pierced the air and the excitement thickened. And the champions? The Blue House Jyoti team emerged victorious, their cheers echoing across the sun-soaked playground! They displayed amazing teamwork, laser focus, and a winning attitude that took them to the top.
Athletes shine bright!
But winning wasn’t all. Even houses that didn’t reach the top held their heads high. The Red House vigil displays true sportsmanship, praising the winners and congratulating their opponents. Green House Kriti, known for her never-give-up spirit, has inspired everyone with her determination. The Yellow House forces, while frustrated, learned valuable lessons about strategy and working together as a team.
More than just a competition
The Inter-house Throw Ball match celebrated school spirit, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. It was a day where students pushed their limits, learned to work together, and formed friendships that transcended room color. As the dust settled and the final scores were tallied, one thing was clear: every student who participated, regardless of their position, was a winner. Congratulations to all the houses – Jyoti, Jagriti, Kriti, and Shakti – for a spectacular display of athleticism and school pride! The memory of this throwdown will surely live on in the halls of GitaRam Gurukul!
